Androlis, red mite predator

Androlis offers an ecological and effective control of the red mite using natural predators.

The red mite is an invasive parasite that is difficult to eliminate from the chicken coop.

As practiced in arboriculture, there is a solution of biological control using natural predators To get rid of the red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae) in our chicken coops: Androlis has selected this predatory mite.

The Androlis mite is a mite natural predator of the red mite, which will colonize your chicken coops, roosts, and nesting boxes to feed on these red mites.
Within a few weeks, the red mite population is reduced and then disappears. Thus, the solution is environmentally friendly, effective, and above all without resistance effect.

We tested the solution during the summer of 2023; with a good initial seeding, the solution is effective for several weeks.

To be combined only with Kiri-Pou in drinking water.

Caution, no other topical application treatment should be performed, under penalty of destroying the colony of predatory lice.
It is then possible to buy pouch-style refills to maintain the Androlis colony.

The Androlis mite is content to colonize your henhouse and poses no danger to you, other household pets, or the farmyard.

The bottle contains a growth medium for mites, designed to populate a chicken coop housing up to 15 chickens.
Sprinkle in the chicken coop or leave the bottle open near the nests away from direct light, so that the small predators colonize the coop at their own pace.

Ideally, avoid new infestations by covering your parks with aviary netting, and/or by investing in a pest-proof mechanical feeder which will prevent the birds of the air from dusting themselves of their lice near your feeders.
